How commission works

How commission works

Where an Equipsme plan meets your client’s demands/needs, there may be an opportunity to earn additional income by introducing Equipsme for the wider workforce.impler, reducing cost leakage and complexity, which helps expense management.

You might be accustomed to looking after clients with PMI, a cash plan and group risk policies - earning commission and/or charging fees for your work. If generating new or additional income is part of your targets, for an Equipsme plan that meets your client needs, it might be useful to understand the commission potential too.

Useful information about our commission payments

  • Commission is paid monthly and less taxes, while the company plan remains in force
  • It’s only paid on what the company buys and we have collected payment for in the month. If the group expands – the commission expands.
  • Our current commission levels depend on the number of employees in force under the company in the payment month, being either below or above 250.
  • If you’re planning to charge your client a fee instead of commission, please get in touch so that we can adjust our normal process accordingly.
  • Equipsme currently pay a standard 15% commission for up to 249 lives (less taxes).
  • Equipsme currently pay 10% commission on 250 lives and above (less taxes).
  • Don’t forget – you can do your own quotes via our portal in a matter of seconds. We can do a demo separately.

* Equipsme pay commission on a monthly cash received basis - amounts above are for illustrative purposes based on April 2026 rates (subject to change).
