Getting started

Your Equipsme plan is designed to be used – to help you stay well and get better, faster. So we’ve brough together all the information you need to get started, now.

How to login

When your company buys you an Equipsme health insurance plan, you’ll get an email from us with all the details about how to log into your personal portal with all your plan details and information.

Logging in to your portal is easy.

  1. Search your email for ‘Equipsme’ to find your Welcome message. This will contain your username for Equipsme.
  2. When you use this username to log in for the first time, you’ll be asked for your date of birth to help identify you. You’ll then be sent an email with a code.
  3. Type in the security code, and our system will prompt you to set a password. This needs to be 10 characters long, must include capital letters, numbers, and another character or symbol, like !?*%
  4. You’ll be asked to type the same password twice. It’s worth writing down a clue to your password somewhere, so you can remember it when you come to log in again.
  5. Once you’re in, you can access your benefits by clicking on the icons.

The Equipsme App - You can also use Equipsme from your phone.

How to access your Equipsme plan benefits

Accessing your Equipsme benefits is really easy. Go to your personal Equipsme portal and log in. All your benefits will appear on your home page as an icon. Click on each icon to find out more about how to access that service.

Help, I’ve forgotten my password.

Don’t worry! We’ve all got so many passwords for so many sites and apps it’s inevitable we sometimes forget them.

Re-setting your password is really easy.

Fill in your username, which is usually your email address. If you can’t remember your username, check your email for your original Welcome letter from Equipsme. Alternatively, you can drop us a line at hello@equipsme.com and we’ll resend your username.

What’s included and excluded in an Equipsme plan.

At Equipsme, we want to be really clear about what you get and what is and isn’t covered with your Equipsme plan. Your Equipsme plan benefits will depend on what level of plan your company purchased for you.

You can see all the benefits and services that are included in your plan in your Member’s Portal, with more details in your Member’s Handbook.

As a summary we don’t cover cancer treatment, chronic conditions or any other conditions you’ve had in the three years before your Equipsme plan started. We also don’t cover psychiatric care, neurological assessments, gender reassignment, pregnancy care or fertility treatment, or for healthcare outside of the UK.
